We want you to receive products that meet specification. This policy describes how returns, refunds, and replacements work.
Reporting window
Inspect every shipment on arrival. Report any of the following within 7 calendar days of delivery: damaged packaging, missing items, incorrect items, or non-conformance with the Certificate of Analysis. Reports made after 7 days cannot be honored.
What can be returned
- Unopened, factory-sealed product in its original packaging.
- Items shipped in error (wrong item, wrong quantity).
- Products that fail to meet the COA specification (subject to verification).
What cannot be returned
- Hazardous materials (DOT-classified) once the original packaging has been opened or compromised.
- Products stored or handled outside the conditions printed on the SDS or product label.
- Custom-prepared, made-to-order, or specially sourced items.
- Products purchased more than 30 days ago.
How to start a return
Contact your account representative or the Contact page with your order number, the product SKU, and a description of the issue. Photos of damage or labeling discrepancies speed up the process. Do not ship anything back until you have received a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions in writing.
Refunds
Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of HRC receiving and verifying the returned product. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the return results from an HRC error.
Replacements
If you prefer a replacement instead of a refund, we will ship the replacement at no additional cost once the original is received and verified, or earlier at our discretion.
Hazmat returns
Returning hazardous materials requires DOT-compliant packaging and documentation. HRC will provide instructions and, where appropriate, a return label and packaging materials. Do not ship hazmat materials back without prior written authorization — this is a federal regulatory matter, not just our policy.
